How is a Microdermal Piercing done?

First and foremost find a license piercer who is also good at their profession. After this decide where you would like the piercing to be located.

Your piercer will clean the area and mark the spot with surgical ink.

After they do this, they will massage the area where the piercing is going to go. This can reduce scar tissue and swelling. This also relaxes the area of the piercing.

Now your piercer is going to use a dermal punch which is also known as a biopsy punch. This is going to remove the tissue and separate the skin. This step can also be done with a needle.

The microdermal anchor is now going to be inserted under the skin using forceps and healing can begin!
